Mr. Gonzalo Vargas Alfaro established this company in 1996 in his attempt to explore a different segmentation of the market other than just national and international tourism, and offer services addressed to the corporate or business executives in the Metropolitan Area.   
He started with a 5 vehicle fleet in the automobile category and has expanded his business capacity as to fleet and service. Today his company can provide access to different categories in various areas of the country, and has a fleet of more than 80 vehicles.
In 2001, he established the regional offices in Quepos.

Description of the current vehicle fleet:
Excellent Car Rental has a wide and varied vehicle fleet with more than 80 units to satisfy our clients’ requirements. Our vehicles may please all likings, at accesible rates and with worldwide recognized brands such as Nissan and Suzuki.

Company offices physical locations:
Excellent Car Rental has two offices: the first one located in San Jose and the other in the province of Puntarenas:

• Main office: Barrio México, San José, 100 North and 300 mts. East from the Fire Department, 10th Street, 13 and 15 avenues.
• Puntarenas: Quepos, 25 mts South from Quepos main entrance. 

Road assistance:
A 24-hour support system provides assistance to clients in case of emergencies or accidents, backed up by our two sales points. For this purpose, we have a platform service to transfer vehicles engaged in accidents or mechanical failure.

Insurance terms:
We have four insurance categories for our clients, which range from a classic insurance with deduction payment to a full coverage insurance for foreign customers.
